This week—as we celebrate 40 years of Roe v. Wade—we’re reminded of the importance the ruling made in women’s health and lives.  By confirming a woman’s constitutional right to consider safe and legal abortion, if and when she needs it, the Supreme Court ruled that women could be trusted to make their own health care decisions, without interference from politicians.

Nevertheless, in spite of this historic ruling, state legislators across the country continue to chip away at women’s health and rights.  By imposing onerous restrictions on health care providers or trying to pass extreme “personhood” measures, anti-women’s health politicians are doing all they can to limit a woman’s right to make her own person medical decisions.

That’s why Planned Parenthood has joined the chorus of voices calling on elected officials to stop the attack on women’s health and rights. It’s Trust Women Week—and time for politicians to listen up!  Take action today:http://bit.ly/XAs4Wf
