Vox® College Campus Groups

Planned Parenthood recognizes the unique passion of young leaders who are advocates for reproductive health and rights. Through Planned Parenthood’s college outreach program, college students across the country organize events on campus to raise public awareness about reproductive health and rights, educate young people about sexual health, and mobilize advocates for reproductive freedom in all communities.

As Planned Parenthood services continue to be under constant attack, campus groups work to build the voice of the movement by uniting pro-choice students! These dynamic groups provide a platform to discuss ideas, create opportunities for personal growth, and offer a fun way to meet new people who care about the same issues that you do!

Join the Movement

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is proud to announce our Regional Youth Organizing and Policy Conferences (Regional YOPC’s) to be held in communities across the country this summer. This year, the toughest battles we’re fighting and the real threats to sexual and reproductive health and rights aren’t just in DC, they are happening where we live. This series of trainings will equip young people ages 18 – 24 with skills to mobilize their communities to support Planned Parenthood. For more information, contact youth@ppfa.org

Become a Leader

Planned Parenthood takes leadership development seriously. We have a number of opportunities for young activists to grow as leaders in our advocacy and organizing work.  Check out some of our programs and contact the Youth Organizing Teamfor more information.

Young Leaders Advisory Council

The Young Leaders Advisory Council (YLAC) is a group of 20 young leaders, affiliate staff, and leadership from across Planned Parenthood who provide advice and input on youth-oriented materials, national conferences, and campaigns. The YLAC advises PPFA’s Youth Organizing Team, Planned Parenthood’s leadership and affiliates on all matters pertaining to young people. This is an opportunity for exceptional young leaders to take part in driving the work of the organization. For more information about becoming a part of the YLAC, please email youth@ppfa.org.

Global Youth Advocacy Fellowship

The Global Youth Advocacy Fellowship program provides the opportunity for exceptional student advocates to become more deeply engaged with international reproductive health and lead local global advocacy efforts by creating and implementing campaigns focused on these issues in their communities. PPFA will provide the support and training needed for young activists to emerge as leaders in the global movement for sexual and reproductive health. The 12-month fellowship will provide students the opportunity to receive specialized training from PPFA, attend two international meetings, and lead global advocacy campaigns in their community. Our 2012 Fellowship class is hard at work and opportunities to be a part of the 2013 Fellowship class will open in Fall 2012.
