A draft U.S. Supreme Court majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was leaked on May 3, 2022. The draft explicitly calls for Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey to be overruled, obliterating federal protections for abortion.

Abortion is still legal today, but the leak from the Supreme Court makes it clear that our deepest fears are coming true: the Court seems prepared to end the constitutional right to abortion.  This decision would leave abortion rights in the hands of state legislatures, including the hostile Nebraska Legislature.

This year, Nebraska politicians obsessed with banning abortion proposed a trigger law that would ban abortion under any circumstance if federal protections fall. Thanks to the advocacy of our supporters and key champions in the Legislature we were able to defeat this proposed bill.

They will try to ban abortion again. We are ready.

Here are 7 ways you can fight back now.
