Nebraska politicians obsessed with banning abortion are working to pass a near total abortion ban this session. LB 626 would ban abortion around six weeks, before many people know they are pregnant. 

This bill is extreme and dangerous. We should trust Nebraskans to make the personal health care decisions that are best for their health and their families. Regardless of our personal beliefs, we can all agree that Nebraskans deserve the right to control their futures and access reproductive health care. We must hold our senators accountable and demand: No bans ever.

The majority of Nebraskans support access to safe, legal abortion, including myself. In fact, 59 percent of Nebraskans oppose any new abortion bans or restrictions.

Nebraskans deserve the right to make decisions about our own bodies and futures, without political interference.
