Planned Parenthood Votes Ohio Condemns Confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court

Statement by Lauren Blauvelt-Copelin, Campaign Director, Planned Parenthood Votes Ohio:
“Today’s confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh confirms what we’ve long said -- elections matter and they’ve never mattered more in our generation. With this lifetime appointment, the threat to our rights and freedoms, including the right to access abortion, birth control, and health care is real.

“Republican leaders turned their backs on women and it is time to turn our backs on them by voting them out of office this November. Women will not forget. We need health care champions like Rich Cordray and Betty Sutton who will protect and defend Ohioans. The time to act is now. Our future depends on it.”
