Protect Our Rights

Since the fall of Roe, abortion will ALWAYS be on the ballot. Anti-choice leaders across the nation are attacking abortion whenever they have the opportunity. Americans are being forced to travel hundreds of miles across state lines to legally access the care they need. Thankfully, Minnesota has taken the steps to be a place that patients can turn to.

This was not by chance.

Electing a pro-choice trifecta allowed Minnesota to protect access for abortion and gender-affirming care, expand birth control access, ban conversion therapy, and deepen state investments in family planning.

If given the chance, politicians who want to ban abortion in Minnesota would turn back all of our progress. We must re-elect this pro-choice majority to keep our rights safe.

Vote for Bianca Virnig by December 5

Bianca Virnig is a mother, advocate, and public servant of over 15 years running to fill the vacancy for Minnesota House District 52B. Bianca has served on the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan school board since 2021. Bianca will advocate for accessible healthcare, safe and healthy communities, education equity and climate action in the State House. She has pledged to protect reproductive health and rights, including the right to safe and legal abortion in our state. It’s so important we keep a pro-choice majority in our state legislature and voting for Bianca will help do that.

Vote Bianca Virnig for HD 52B in the Special Election by December 5.

Last year, 2.5 million Minnesotans mobilized, cast their ballot, and elected candidates who bodly ran on their steadfast support of reproductive freedom. As a result, legislators approached the 2023 legislative session empowered to take actions for Minnesotans, and they delivered. Because Minnesotans like you showed up and elected a pro-choice trifecta in 2022, Minnesota lawmakers:

  • Codified the right to reproductive health care including abortion by passing the Protect Reproductive Options (PRO) Act within the first month of session;
  • Increased access to birth control and invested in family planning services with a historic increase in funding;
  • Protected gender affirming care by passing the Trans Refuge Bill and protected patients from out of state persecution for accessing the health care they need via the Reproductive Freedom Defense Act.

But, we aren't done yet. We must protect the progress we made and continue to build so that everyone can access the sexual and reproductive health care they decide is best for their body in their own community . We must elect a champion for reproductive freedom to fill the vacancy in the Minnesota House District 52B to continue our critical work to make lives better for all Minnesotans.

Pledge to Vote for Bianca Virnig for State Representative in HD 52B

States across the country are decimating access to abortion, birth control, and sex education. We can't take abortion access for granted. We must elect leaders who support the right of every person to make decisions about their own body and will work to expand access to sexual and reproductive health care.  Thankfully, the pro-choice trifecta in Minnesota has taken the steps to be a place that patients can turn to. We must re-elect that pro-choice majority to keep our rights safe.

Take the pledge to protect our rights by voting in the special election for Bianca Virnig by December 5!
