The New Hampshire Senate and House just voted to pass a budget that contains an abortion ban with virtually no exceptions. This cruel language, which harms patients and criminalizes doctors, does not belong in a state budget and it does not belong anywhere in New Hampshire.

A committee is currently working to finalize the budget before it goes to the Governor's desk. Contact the Committee of Conference members at the email addresses below and tell them to remove the cruel language from the budget that bans abortion at 24 weeks with virtually no exceptions, including none for fatal fetal health:

Then, contact Governor Sununu at (603) 271-2121 or [email protected] and tell him to veto the budget. Governor Sununu has said won't veto the budget with this abortion ban in it -- he needs to hear from you.

This is the first abortion ban to pass the Senate in two centuries, and it's passage means rolling the clock back on New Hampshire's long, bipartisan tradition of protecting reproductive freedom. Granite Staters deserve privacy and compassion during these complex situations, not government interference.

Email the committee and tell them to put Granite Staters ahead of political interests by opposing this abortion ban. Thank you for your support!
