The State of Mississippi has passed two separate six-week abortion bans through its state legislature on Feb. 13, 2019.
SB 2116 and HB 732 passed through the Senate and House respectively, and are now expected to go to the governor's desk, where he has promised to sign the bills immediately.
Similar bills have been struck down before, and we're prepared to fight to make sure these bills meet the same fate.
