Cecile Richards on the Rachel Maddow Show Discusses Attacks on Women's Health

Last night, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards joined MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow to discuss the attacks on women’s health both in Congress and in the states. From the 20-week nationwide ban on abortion introduced by Arizona Congressman Trent Franks to the extreme Iowa bill forcing the Governor to certify when an abortion is ‘medically necessary’, women’s health is under attack.
As Cecile pointed out, one of the most extraordinary things is that of all the people introducing and moving forward with these bills, “None of them will ever be pregnant. And the thought that these men are now going to make decisions for women about their pregnancies is incredible.”
