If You Do One Thing Today
Fight Back February is in full swing — and there’s still time to turn out during the President’s Day recess, February 18 to 26. This is one of the most important moments in Planned Parenthood history, and we need reproductive rights advocates to make sure their senators SEE PINK everywhere they go.
If you do one thing today, RSVP to an in-person event near you to fight and turn out in support of Planned Parenthood!
More Time? Do These Three Things!
The House is about to vote to dismantle President Obama’s Title X rule — cutting low-income patients off from essential family planning services. Call your Representatives now and tell them you oppose this attack on health care.
February 11 was billed as a “protest Planned Parenthood” day by anti-women’s health activists. Planned Parenthood supporters had other ideas. More than 50,000 people sent messages of support to health center staff, and turnout at pro-Planned Parenthood counter-protests dwarfed the opposition. Check out a recap of this weekend’s nationwide rallies in support of Planned Parenthood.
The staff at Planned Parenthood health centers provide high-quality, supportive care to patients every day, no matter what. Take a moment to show these amazing people just how much their hard work and dedication means: Sign a special message to say "thanks" to health center staff.
Planned Parenthood Defenders are a committed group of supporters on the front lines of protecting Planned Parenthood and reproductive health and rights — all we’re missing is you. Sign up here if you're ready to gather up your friends and family each week to take significant, crucial actions to help save Planned Parenthood.
Get Loud
Who will be hurt the most if Planned Parenthood is defunded? Hint: Not the legislators pushing to do so.
Defender of the Week
Our star defender of the week: Joe S. (30-OH) is an activist and one of Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio’s star volunteers. He was committed to volunteering throughout the election season (at least one day every week!) and continues to fight for Planned Parenthood and refugee families every day — he recently helped plan a rally for refugees in Cincinnati that drew hundreds of people. Thanks for your passion and dedication, Joe!
