If You Do 1 Thing Today
Your members of Congress will likely be in your state during the President’s Day recess, February 18-26. This is one of the most important moments in Planned Parenthood history, and we need reproductive rights advocates to make sure their senators SEE PINK everywhere they go. If you do one thing today, either:
-
Join a local event: Find a February recess event nearby that you or your friends could join; OR
-
Show up at your senators’ doors: Read our quick guide on attending a town hall or stopping by your local Senate office.
More Time? Do These Three Things!
- Congress is still determined to roll back President Obama's rule protecting the Title X family planning program. We can’t let them dismantle the rule and open the door to extremist politicians blocking people's access to preventive care at a health center just because it also provides safe, legal abortion.
Send a message to your representatives in Congress telling them to protect Title X. - If President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, Judge Neil Gorsuch, doesn’t support Roe v. Wade, then he’s unfit to serve on the bench.
Share this image on Facebook and encourage your friends to ask their senators to hold Judge Gorsuch accountable on Roe. - Stay connected with us wherever you go — follow Planned Parenthood Action Fund on Instagram.
Get Loud
Could community health centers fill the void if extremists block patients from care at Planned Parenthood? NOPE.

Defender of the Week
Defenders are a core group of supporters who have said they’ll give their time to defend Planned Parenthood, the health services it provides, and the people who rely on its health centers.
Our star defender this week: Sierra D. (21, OH) is an activist with Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio (PPGOH) who constantly impresses her peers with her work ethic and passion for human rights issues, especially those affecting women and immigrants. From working double get-out-the-vote shifts alone, to phone banking, to starting an internship with PPGOH — thank you, Sierra, for your contagious kindness and dedication to do good in this world!
