What is Trump's "Gag Rule?”

It would prohibit doctors, nurses, and hospitals across the country from being able to refer their patients for safe, legal abortion.

Gynotician Alert of the Week: June 20-26

This week: Ohio’s Senate passed a bill that would dangerously ban abortions after 20 weeks without exceptions for rape or incest; meanwhile, Texas Governor Abbott kicked Planned Parenthood out of a program that provides breast and cervical cancer screenings to low-income women; and the U.S. Senate decides to attack fact-based teen pregnancy prevention programs and replace it with #JunkScience, abstinence-only dogma.

Supreme Court Reopens Abortion Providers in Texas — For Now

The U.S. Supreme Court just put a hold on provisions of a Texas law that threatens to eviscerate access to safe, legal abortion in the state for tens of thousands of women. The Court’s Oct. 14 order temporarily allows health centers that were forced to close earlier this month to resume providing abortions.
