Just like the Title X gag rule in the United States attacks our health care access and rights, the global gag rule is a vile attack on access to health care internationally. The Biden administration has already rescinded the rule for now, but the ever-present threat of it returning with the flick of a future President's pen undermines sustainable progress and partnerships around the world. Now it's time for Congress to end the global gag rule for good.

I am a constituent and a supporter of Planned Parenthood Action Fund. The Biden administration has already taken action to rescind the global gag rule for now, but Congress must pass the Global Health, Empowerment, and Rights (HER) Act to end the global gag rule for good.

The global gag rule denies people lifesaving health care services around the world, silences health care providers and advocates, and has undermined human rights for far too long.

I urge you to support passing the Global HER Act to permanently end the global gag rule and ensure that politicians can’t come between patients and their health care provider, no matter where they live.
