I'm calling to demand that my senators not take any vote on Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. We the people deserve a chance to vote before another judge is given a lifetime appointment on the court.

Trump has promised to nominate and appoint justices who will overturn Roe v. Wade and undermine access to health care. The election is already underway, and Justice Ginsburg’s dying wish was that she not be replaced until after the inauguration — and we should respect that wish.

I expect my senator to vote against any of Trump’s nominees before January.

Justice Ginsburg was a fierce defender of our right to control our bodies, our lives, and our destinies. To honor her legacy, we must all rise to protect our reproductive freedom. That means making clear to our Senators that there should be NO vote on any Supreme Court nominee before inauguration day. If we don’t act now, an ultra-conservative ideologue may get a lifetime seat on the Court and — alongside the Trump administration’s two other justices — put Justice Ginsburg’s life's work at even greater risk. Access to reproductive health care and affordable health care as we know it may vanish.

Call your Senator: tell them there should be NO vote on any Trump Supreme Court nominee before January.
