Mail in your ballot for Ricky Hurtado!

As the child of immigrants and the first in his family to graduate from college, Ricky Hurtado knows what hard work means. Now, he’s ready to go to work for North Carolina families.

As a teacher at UNC Chapel Hill, Ricky knows the importance of both a good education and supporting families that need it — and that the people closest to the problems should be the ones coming up with the solutions.

That’s why he wants to make it cheaper for students to go to college, increase teacher pay, and expand access to preschool. He will also expand Medicaid, and empower North Carolinians and their families to make their own health care decisions.

His opponent, Stephen Ross, has done the opposite. He consistently blocks North Carolina’s Medicaid expansion, denying thousands of families the health care that they need. Ross further limits access to reproductive health caren — taking extreme positions against safe, legal abortion and birth control.

We can vote for a candidate with the lived experience to help North Carolina succeed. Vote Ricky Hurtado for House District 63.
