Planned Parenthood Votes Launches Five New Ads on the Contrast Between the Biden/Harris and Trump/Pence Health Agendas

The five new 15 second ads highlight the clear differences between the Trump-Pence and Biden-Harris vision for health care and reproductive rights. 

Washington, DC — Today, Planned Parenthood Votes launched five digital advertisements emphasizing the diametrically opposing records on health care and rights between the Trump-Pence and Biden-Harris tickets. The ads, which will also run in Spanish, remind voters that the choice on health care is clear, and that we can’t survive another four more years of a Trump administration. The Trump spots focus on his continued efforts to “terminate” our health care, his focus on nominating Supreme Court justices to overturn Roe v. Wade, his constant attacks on the Affordable Care Act, and his administration’s disastrous response to COVID-19. This is juxtaposed by ads highlighting Biden and Harris’ commitment to sexual and reproductive health and rights, their plan to expand health care, and protect safe, legal abortion.    

The ads, “Protect Roe,” “Health Care,” “Supreme Court,” “Set Us Back,” and “Stand,” will run in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, as part of Planned Parenthood Votes’ strategic effort to mobilize and energize voters in key swing states.

“We’re 15 days away from Election Day, with millions of voters already casting their ballots across the country, and the choice could not be clearer: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the only candidates committed to protecting our reproductive rights and expanding health care coverage. Trump can’t run away from his record of jeopardizing care, attacking our freedoms, or his incompetent, dangerous failures on COVID-19. The stakes could not be higher for our health and rights, and Planned Parenthood Votes will make sure the choice for voters is clear all the way through Election Day."

The new ads are a part of Planned Parenthood Votes “We Decide 2020” electoral program. “We Decide 2020” is Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations’ largest electoral program ever - with a historic investment of at least $45 million in key battleground states during the 2020 cycle.
