Women’s rights advocates march again to protect reproductive health

MORRISTOWN, NJ — On Saturday January 20, Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey (PPAFNJ) will be leading a contingent of grassroots supporters at the second Women’s March on New Jersey. Women and allies from communities across the state are joining together in Morristown as we rally to protect women’s rights, civil rights, and human rights.

WHAT: March with Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey at the Women’s March on New Jersey

WHEN: Saturday, January 20 at 11 a.m.

WHERE: Morristown Town Hall, 200 South Street, Morristown NJ 07960

WHO: Hundreds of women’s rights supporters

Planned Parenthood supporters and staff will be available for interviews, photo, and video at the march. Please contact [email protected] (201-647-5502) to coordinate a specific meeting location.

The Women’s March in 2017 sparked an energy that continues to this day, from defeating attempts to repeal Obamacare to #MeToo to historic numbers of women running for office. 2018 will be a pivotal year for women's health and women's rights, and women will be a potent political force fighting for the world we want. PPAFNJ supporters and staff will march in support of every person’s right to control their own body, equitable protection from violence, and equal access to health care, affordable housing, public education, and clean water and air.
