We protested, we organized, and we fought back. This November, the movement that began at the 2017 Women’s March will show its strength at the ballot box.
Since taking office, the Trump-Pence administration has waged a war on health care access. Every step of the way, Planned Parenthood supporters have fought back. We halted the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. We took the Trump administration to court to protect funding for family planning services and comprehensive sex education. And in Massachusetts, we partnered with our champions at the State House to roll out bold, new policies that expand access to birth control and confidential care.
Our recent legislative successes illustrate how important it is for us to make every election count. We must continue to elect new leaders who will join our movement. That’s why the 2018 midterm elections are so important. The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts is taking action to elect leaders who will fight to defend our health and our rights in the Commonwealth. We are also championing three ballot campaigns that will help build healthy communities across the Commonwealth. Scroll down to learn more about these critical campaigns and get involved today.
When we go to the ballot box this November, together we will make it clear that reproductive rights and health care access are winning issues.
