Governor Parson and his allies have been attacking Missourians' reproductive freedom nonstop.

  • Passing one of the nation's most extreme abortion bans, which would ban abortion at eight weeks – before most people even know they're pregnant. (Thankfully, this ban is currently blocked by the courts.)
  • Forcing patients to have a medically unnecessary pelvic exam – which amounts to state-sanctioned sexual assault – before they can have an abortion.
  • Weaponizing the health department to try and shut down Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood (RHS), the only health center licensed to provide abortion in the entire state. (Planned Parenthood fought back against this attack, too.)
  • Repeatedly abusing the budget to discriminate against Planned Parenthood patients and block them from getting their birth control, cancer screenings, and STI testing/treatment at Planned Parenthood health centers.
  • In a last-ditch effort to shut down RHS, making a spreadsheet to track the periods of Planned Parenthood patients.
  • Ignoring Missouri's maternal mortality crisis; Black women are three times more likely than white women to die from pregnancy-related causes, and the overall maternal mortality rate is rising.
  • Targeting transgender kids by criminalizing essential health care.
  • Denying hundreds of thousands of Missourians access to health care coverage by refusing to expand Medicaid.
  • Abandoning families with low incomes by trying to gut the minimum wage and give tax cuts to the wealthiest earners.

The elections are our chance to hold these officials accountable – and we are the ones who will decide.
