Want to cut red tape? Stop TRAP laws!

Gov. Greitens says he wants to cut red tape... but he just signed 30+ pages of new red tape in Senate Bill 5, a targeted regulation of abortion provider (TRAP) law.

Senate Bill 5 increases the unnecessary burden on Missourians while doing nothing to protect their health or safety. This TRAP law is the definition of red tape.

If Gov. Greitens wants to cut red tape, he should start by opposing TRAP laws!

Repeal TRAP laws

Targeted Restrictions of Abortion Providers (TRAP) laws like the ones that the Supreme Court just struck down in Texas have nothing to do with protecting women’s health and everything to do with stopping women from accessing abortion.

It's time to stop pushing these harmful restrictions and repeal existing TRAP laws now.

Support comprehensive sex education

In 2015, Missouri took a small step forward in advancing sex education curriculum, but we can and must do more!

The bottom line is that even with this new law, Missouri young people can be subjected to ineffective and dangerous abstinence-only sex education in our public schools. That is not ok.
