Gov. Greitens has called lawmakers to return to Jefferson City for an expensive and unnecessary special session attacking women's health. The $20,000 it costs for a single day of special session could provide hundreds of Missourians with increased access to sexual and reproductive health care, like:
- A well-woman exam for 100 patients,
- One month of birth control for 800 women, or
- STI testing and treatment for 160 patients.
Call your state representative and tell them to stop spending $20,000 per day on a special session to restrict women's health care and instead focus on expanding Missourians' access to high-quality, affordable health care.
