  • October 5: Early voting begins. 
  • October 16: Deadline to register to vote online.
  • October 23: Deadline to request early/absentee ballot. Deadline to register to vote in person.
  • November 2: Last day to vote early in person at county election office. 
  • November 3: Election Day! Early ballots must be received by your county election office by 8 p.m. CT

Vote Safely

If you vote in person, keep yourself and others safe:

  • Maintain a social distance of six feet.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after touching shared surfaces.
  • Bring your own ballpoint pen if possible.

Senator Mike Hilgers

  • Senator Hilgers does not believe abortion should be legal, including in cases of rape and incest or to save the life of the woman.1
  • Senator Hilgers supports fully defunding Planned Parenthood and has pledged to support extreme anti-abortion bills that will criminalize doctors and restrict life-saving health care.2
  • Senator Hilgers did not support a special session to address racial justice issues, even while Nebraskans marched and demanded action.3
  • Senator Hilgers fought against a bill that would establish citizen police advisory boards after the death of George Floyd.4
  • Senator Hilgers voted against the introduction of Senator Vargas’ bill to address public health and safety in meat packing plants during COVID-19—a move that disproportionately impacts Latinx folks.5

Senator Suzanne Geist

  • Senator Geist hijacked the 2020 legislative session, manipulated the process to ram her abortion ban through the legislature, and did NOTHING to address two ongoing public health crises—COVID-19 and white supremacy.
  • Senator Geist’s anti-abortion bill, LB 814, makes it a crime for doctors to use their best medical judgment. It bans care that women need and doctors recommend. Senator Geist will continue to politicize health care if we don’t vote her out.1
  • Senator Geist did not support a special session to address racial justice issues, even while Nebraskans marched and demanded action.2
  • Senator Geist voted against the introduction of Senator Vargas’ bill to address public health and safety in meat packing plants during COVID-19—a move that disproportionately impacts Latinx folks.3

Senator Joni Albrecht

  • Senator Albrecht has refused to take action to protect her constituents from ongoing public health crises—COVID-19 and white supremacy.
  • Senator Albrecht does not believe abortion should be legal, including in cases of rape and incest or to save the life of the woman.1
  • Senator Albrecht passed a bill in 2019, LB 209, that forces doctors to lie to pregnant patients about medication that is not safe.
  • Senator Albrecht did not support a special session to address racial justice issues, even while Nebraskans marched and demanded action.2
  • Senator Albrecht voted against the introduction of Senator Vargas’ bill to address public health and safety in meat packing plants during COVID-19—a move that disproportionately impacts Latinx folks.3

Rick Holdcroft

Rick Holdcroft will take away Nebraskans’ freedom and restrict access to health care. He has stated his ultimate goal is to ban abortion and defund Planned Parenthood, eliminating affordable sexual and reproductive health care for thousands of Nebraskans.1,2

Rich Pahls

Rich Pahls voted for an abortion ban when he previously served as a state senator. As a member of the Omaha City Council, he voted against a city council ordinance that would have reallocated $2 million from the police budget to mental health services.2

Jacob Campbell

Jacob Campbell does not believe abortion should ever be legal, including for cases of rape and incest or to save the life of the woman. He supports fully defunding Planned Parenthood and has pledged to bring extreme anti-abortion bills that will criminalize doctors and restrict life-saving health care.1

Senator Andrew LaGrone

  • Senator LaGrone was appointed by Governor Ricketts to elected office. He brings forward extreme, ideological bills that jeopardize the health and well-being of Nebraskans. 
  • Senator LaGrone does not believe abortion should be legal, including in cases of rape and incest.1
  • Senator LaGrone voted against the introduction of Senator Vargas’ bill to address public health and safety in meat packing plants during COVID-19—a move that disproportionately impacts Latinx folks.2
  • Senator LaGrone did not support a special session to address racial justice issues, even while Nebraskans marched and demanded action.3

Senator Bruce Bostelman

  • Senator Bostelman does not believe abortion should be legal, including in cases of rape and incest or to save the life of the woman.1
  • Senator Bostelman voted for Senator Geist's bill, LB 814, that criminalizes doctors and bans care that women need and doctors recommend.2
  • Senator Bostelman voted for Senator Albrecht's bill, LB 209, that forces doctors to lie to pregnant patients about medication that is not safe.3
  • Senator Bostelman did not support a special session to address racial justice issues, even while Nebraskans marched and demanded action.4
