I'm calling to ask my State Senator to vote NO on HB 2177 if it gets to the Senate floor. 

The majority of Oklahomans support access to gender-affirming care, including myself because [add your own story, if you like]. 

HB 2177 is a dangerous political attack on our health and our rights. It threatens trans people's access to best practice medical care by banning gender-affirming care for Oklahomans under 18, and by banning the use of public funds for gender-affirming care. If this bill is enacted, providers who administer this essential care can face civil and professional liability. This is not what the Oklahoma Legislature should be focused on right now, as people in our state are still dealing with the ongoing challenges of the pandemic. We need real leadership, not political attacks.
