St. Louis — Today, Planned Parenthood Great Rivers Action (PPGR Action) proudly celebrates the successful election of our endorsed candidates in Tuesday’s primary. As Missouri voters look to the November to elect their next leaders in Jefferson City and beyond, PPGR Action is working to turn out massive grassroots support for candidates who will champion reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial equity in health outcomes, and fight against the continued assault on access to sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion.

Statement from Margot Riphagen, Vice President of External Affairs, Planned Parenthood Great Rivers Action

“We know the majority of Missourians support the right to reproductive freedom, but it is imperative that support translates into votes – so that we elect champions who will fight back against extreme bans and government overreach into our personal, private health care decisions. Today, we celebrate our candidates’ successful primary wins. Tomorrow, we get back to work and keep growing our power across the state to ensure pro-reproductive health, pro-sex education, pro-abortion victories in November.”
