Feeling down? Here are four things you can do right now to make a difference.

Care

You’re devastated. We are too. It’s okay to feel sad. It’s okay to need time to process. It’s okay to stress eat. Do what you need to do, just make sure you are taking care of yourself.

Here are some self-care resources that might help:

>> Feministing: Self-Care 101
>> Everything Is Awful and I'm Not Okay

If you’re experiencing a crisis, call:

>> National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255
>> The Trevor Project LGBTQ Crisis Hotline: 866-488-7386
>> RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline: 800-656-4673

Love

Check in with your people. Reach out to your friends and family who are LGBTQ+, people of color, Muslim, Latinx, immigrants, disabled, survivors, women, or just plain scared.

Remind them: We see you. We love you. We will keep fighting together.

Volunteer

Sign up to volunteer with Planned Parenthood or other organizations working to make change in our world.  We’re going to need help from dedicated volunteers like you in the coming days, months, and years - for the patients who rely on us, for our allies across progressive movements.

Donate

Make a gift to a cause you believe in. Planned Parenthood has been here for 100 years and one thing is clear — we will never back down, and we will never stop providing the care our patients need.  No matter how great the threat, nothing has ever overcome our commitment to providing high-quality, affordable health care to all people who need it. Planned Parenthood’s doors stay open, no matter what.
