Have you seen the Planned Parenthood #BirthControlBus?

You read it right—this spring, you can catch Planned Parenthood’s #BirthControlBus rolling through the Twin Cities metro area!

Birth control. It’s what we do.

Planned Parenthood believes all people deserve access to birth control. That’s why Planned Parenthood’s nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and doctors are among the best-trained and most experienced experts in sexual and reproductive health.

Planned Parenthood knows how important it is to offer personalized care in a supportive environment—and there’s a lot of different options out there about where to go for health care.

Planned Parenthood has your back.

That’s where the #BirthControlBus comes in! The #BirthControlBus is making the rounds across the Twin Cities to let Minnesotans know that Planned Parenthood is a trusted place for folks looking for resources on how to decide what birth control method is right for them.

But, as Sarah Stoesz, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota explained, the bus is more than just a resource to let people know where they can go to receive expert contraceptive advice, it is also a way to get people fired up about Planned Parenthood and the importance of high-quality reproductive and sexual health care.

Stoesz explains, “Anyone seeking health care services should receive comprehensive, unbiased, medically accurate information. The experienced experts in sexual and reproductive health care at Planned Parenthood are proud to serve our communities.”

This is the first time Planned Parenthood has ever promoted birth control services by branding an entire city bus. The bus was made possible by a gift from a Planned Parenthood donor. PPMNS is grateful to have awesome donors who understand the importance of promoting Planned Parenthood’s commitment to serving our communities!

So far, Twin Cities residents have definitely been feeling the energy and empowerment that the bus seeks to provide.

We’re thrilled to see folks getting fired up and excited about the bus! If you catch the bus making its way through the cities, tweet @ppmn using the hashtag #BirthControlBus! But hurry – the bus is only going to be around for a limited time.

All Minnesotans deserve access to quality care. “We hope this bus, like our other visibility efforts, empowers our community to seek out the care they need to be healthy and follow their dreams,” added Stoesz.

Planned Parenthood knows that finding the right method of birth control can be critical to living a happy, healthy life. And PPMNS committed to making sure our communities have access the tools to make the decisions that are right for them – no matter what. Ready to make an appointment?
