Vote Angie Craig by November 3

We need more champions like Angie Craig representing us in Congress. She  — and fewer politicians like Rep. Jason Lewis who demean the office, disrespect our choices, and want to dismantle our rights.

Angie Craig is the Champion Minnesota Needs

Angie Craig is unwavering in her support for reproductive rights and will fight to expand access to health care for all Minnesotans.

Angie Craig has been a fierce defender of the Affordable Care Act and the protections it ensures for Minnesotans. Craig criticized her opponent, Jason Lewis’ work to dismantle the ACA’s protections for vulnerable Minnesotans.

She stands with Planned Parenthood and supports a person's right to make their own health care decisions and access comprehensive health care.

Angie Craig is pragmatic and qualified to represent Minnesotans. In her former career as Vice President of Human Resources at St. Jude Medical, Craig was responsible for 16,000 employees in 100 countries. Her sensible leadership is what Minnesotans can depend on.

  • Angie Craig would be the first woman to represent Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District and Minnesota’s first openly LGBTQ member of Congress.

  • She believes “no one should ever come between a woman and her doctor.”

Do You Know Who You're Voting For?

Reproductive health care is under attack and abortion access is at risk across the country. If politicians don’t stand with us on access to safe and legal abortion, affordable birth control, or health care equity—then they don’t deserve to represent us.

Now is the time to hold politicians accountable and elect leaders who will fight with us. It’s up to us to take back the power from those who are intent on dividing us and elect reproductive health champions who will fight to protect our health, rights, and communities.

Learn about candidates who are endorsed by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and vote for reproductive health champions on November 6.

Jason Lewis is Too Extreme for Minnesota

With his words and his actions, Jason Lewis has shown that he does not care about women’s access to reproductive care. Lewis has worked against the best interest of his constituents and is on-the-record using disparaging language about women and minorities.

Rep. Lewis is on-the-record making disparaging comments about women and minority communities.

  • Lewis said that people who vote based on access to birth control aren’t human.
  • Lewis has called women “ignorant” and said that the “vast majority of single women couldn’t explain to you what GDP means.”
  • Lewis has wondered why he can't use the word "slut" to refer to women who "behave like a slut."
  • Lewis called voters who care about abortion and gay marriage "non-thinking."
  • Lewis equated gay couples with rapists.

Rep. Jason Lewis is bad for Minnesota women and it is crucial to replace him with a lawmaker like Angie Craig who will protect health care and reproductive rights in the upcoming election.

  • Rep. Lewis has earned a zero percent rating from Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
  • Rep. Lewis has voted to restrict access to safe, legal abortion.
  • Rep. Lewis also voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which could have left 1,154,000 Minnesotan women and girls with pre-existing conditions at risk.
  • He voted to block more than 50,000 Minnesotans from accessing birth control and cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood health centers.
