From Chaska to Coon Rapids, and Bloomington to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota's 3rd District is ready for a leader like Dean Phillips who will listen to them on important issues and represent their values in Congress.
Dean Phillips is a Champion for Minnesota Women and Families
Dean Phillips has made clear that he will fight for women’s rights and a woman’s right to choose and holds a "fierce belief in the mission of Planned Parenthood." Along with access to health care, he also supports legislation for equal pay, paid family leave, and the Equal Rights Amendment.
"Dean supports the protections provided in the Affordable Care Act that prevent women from being charged more than men, and he opposes efforts to repeal or undermine them. He is pro-choice and will work to ensure that women have access to comprehensive, high-quality and affordable care — including reproductive care — throughout their lives." Read more.

Reproductive health care is under attack and abortion access is at risk across the country. If politicians don’t stand with us on access to safe and legal abortion, affordable birth control, or health care equity—then they don’t deserve to represent us.
Now is the time to hold politicians accountable and elect leaders who will fight with us. It’s up to us to take back the power from those who are intent on dividing us and elect reproductive health champions who will fight to protect our health, rights, and communities.

Representative Erik Paulsen Wants to Ban Abortion and Defund Planned Parenthood
Paulsen doesn’t support a woman’s constitutional right to make her own health care decisions. He supports overturning Roe v. Wade and has voted to ban access to abortion.
From voting to repeal the Affordable Care Act to blocking patients from care at Planned Parenthood, Rep. Erik Paulsen has consistently worked to dismantle women’s access to the full spectrum of reproductive care.
Despite attempt after attempt by his constituents to support for Planned Parenthood, Paulsen still wants to defund Planned Parenthood and refuses to acknowledge the role that Planned Parenthood plays in providing health care to constituents in his district.
Rep. Erik Paulsen is out of touch with his constituents, a majority of whom support Planned Parenthood, and voters have had enough.
- Rep. Paulsen voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which could have left 1,154,000 Minnesotan women and girls with pre-existing conditions at risk. This also would have stripped hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans from their health insurance.
- Paulsen has voted over and over to block his own constituents, more than 50,000 Minnesotans, from accessing birth control and cancer screenings at Planned Parenthood health centers.
- Rep. Paulsen has earned a zero percent rating from Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
