2024 New Hampshire Election

First, pledge to vote for candidates, up and down the ballot, who will always protect abortion rights in New Hampshire.

The future of abortion rights is on this November’s ballot. The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, which removed our federal constitutional protection for legal abortion, and now New Hampshire politicians have the power to control our bodies and our futures.

Learn more about the PPNHAF PAC-endorsed candidates in the Executive Branch, check how your lawmakers voted in the NH Senate and House, and be ready to vote for reproductive health care and abortion rights champions on Tuesday, November 5.

PPNHAF PAC Endorsements

On Thursday, September 12, the PPNHAF PAC announced its endorsements for candidates in the New Hampshire Executive Branch, all of whom have committed to protect and expand access to comprehensive reproductive health care, including safe and legal abortion, or have demonstrated a strong record of doing so.

Executive Branch: Governor and Executive Council

We can count on PPNHAF PAC-endorsed Executive Branch candidates to:

  • Fully fund and support providers in New Hampshire’s Family Planning Program, which covers preventative sexual and reproductive health care for lower-income and uninsured Granite Staters, including Planned Parenthood of Northern New England
  • Nominate and confirm judges who will uphold our Granite State values of support for abortion rights
  • Appoint and approve commissioners who will protect and expand our sexual and reproductive health

Joyce Craig
Governor

PPNHAF PAC endorses Joyce Craig. Joyce Craig is committed to expanding reproductive rights in New Hampshire. As Mayor of Manchester, she supported the state’s largest Planned Parenthood health center. As Governor, she plans to codify abortion rights into law, repeal existing restrictions, and establish a Bureau of Reproductive Health Care. Craig will also work to enhance access to IVF and fertility treatments, protect clinics from violence, and support funding for family planning providers. Additionally, she aims to make New Hampshire a stronghold for reproductive rights by joining the Reproductive Freedom Alliance and promoting comprehensive family health care and sex education.

  • "How do I check that I am registered to vote?"
    • Check your voter registration here.
  • "How do I register to vote in New Hampshire?"
    • Register to vote at your town clerk’s office before the deadline or register to vote the day of the election at your polling place. When registering to vote, you will be required to complete a Voter Registration form and bring proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile. See examples of documents to bring here.

If you do not have these documents, you can prove your identity, age, and/or citizenship by signing a Qualified Voter Affidavit, under oath, in front of an election official.

The deadline to register to vote before elections in New Hampshire is not the same statewide. Your city or town’s deadline could be between 6-13 days prior to the election. Check with your town clerk for your town or city’s deadline.

  • "Can I register to vote online in New Hampshire?"
    • New Hampshire does not have an option to register online. You can register at your town clerk's office before the deadline or register to vote the day of the election at your polling place.
  • "Does New Hampshire offer same-day voter registration?"
    • Yes, New Hampshire has same day voter registration, meaning registration at your polling place. To register to vote on Election Day, you must bring proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile. See examples of documents to bring here!
