Planned Parenthood of NYC Action Fund Announces Public Advocate Candidate Ratings

NEW YORK – Planned Parenthood of NYC Action Fund today proudly announced its ratings for candidates in the Public Advocate special election, to be held on February 26th.

Laura McQuade, President and CEO, Planned Parenthood of NYC Action Fund:

“Now more than ever, we need a Public Advocate who understands the interplay between sexual and reproductive, racial and economic justice. Planned Parenthood of NYC Action Fund has rated seven Public Advocate candidates 100%. Based on records of public service, candidate questionnaires and interviews, we are confident each of them will champion sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice for all New Yorkers. We encourage all New Yorkers to read the responses each candidate submitted to our questionnaire, which are available on our website, detailing their commitment to Planned Parenthood and sexual and reproductive health. And don’t forget to vote on February 26!”
