In the past year, health centers on the campuses of Concordia and Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) have closed their doors leaving students with limited options for accessing birth control and other reproductive healthcare services.

We want college students and the community to know that the Moorhead Planned Parenthood—just down the street—is a resource for health care like low cost birth control, STI testing/treatment, and annual exams. That is why we’re organizing a Healthy Neighborhood Canvass and we’d love for you to help!

Who | Volunteers and people like YOU!
What | In teams, talk to neighbors to educate them about the services at Planned Parenthood.
Why | To break down barriers and raise awareness about Planned Parenthood.
Where | Training and home-base, Fargo Planned Parenthood office, 624 Main Avenue Suite 2F Fargo, ND 58103
When | Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We will start the morning with a training to familiarize volunteers with Planned Parenthood’s services and the health needs of the community. There will be a light breakfast and coffee. Then volunteers will be placed in teams to go hit the doors and talk to our neighbors!

RSVP on our Facebook event is not required but appreciated. While you’re there, share the event with your friends and encourage them to join. For more information, email Jenika Rufer, North Dakota Grassroots Organizer, at [email protected].
