What you need to know about Reach One Teach One program:
Reach One Teach One brings resources together to engage young people in an educational program that is ultimately about helping to ensure that their future is bright.
Reach One Teach One is a peer education program sponsored by North Dakota State University. This free program gives young people an opportunity to learn about real-life issues related to sexuality and then share their knowledge with others. ANY YOUNG PERSON between the ages of 14 and 18 in the North Dakota is welcome to attend this virtual class. Through a blended approach of online class and independent study, youth will engage in activities, discussion, and games that cover a variety of topics including communication skills, goal-setting, relationships, consent, birth control, abstinence, STI/HIV and more.
Youth who meet attendance and peer education goals will earn a $100 gift card. Technology support is available for youth who do not have access to a computer.
Content of the lesson plans, taught by Planned Parenthood educators, is always comprehensive, medically accurate, and age-appropriate. Also, our data shows that youth who take the class report increased communication with trusted adults on topics such as abstinence, sexually-transmitted infections, birth control, and how to sex no to sex.Registration Link
