Are you tired of attacks on your reproductive health care? Are you ready to advocate for reproductive justice for all? If so, you are invited to join our “Intro to Activism” training!
You are AMAZING! We’ve had such an influx of volunteers since the November election we have created some NEW volunteer opportunities and revamped some of our older ones.
Planned Parenthood is known for three things: quality health care, comprehensive sex education, and relentless advocacy efforts. In North Dakota, we are hoping to become known for one of our fun, empowering, educational events: our Sex Ed Trivia and Repro Rights ResisDANCE! We couldn’t do what we do without help from YOU.
Matt Brunsvold, a volunteer from the area, has been a supporter of our work in the state. He recently donated his time and energy to work on a project in our office: adding shelving to our break room for all of our Planned Parenthood swag!
In a world where women are the minority in many political scenarios – whether on a local, state, or national level - WE Rise aims to educate women about the political process so they are better able to participate – whether that means voting, testifying, trying to create/change a bill, or even running for office.
Don’t let your energy fade! Put your passion into action. There’s still work to do! Join us for these fun, empowering, rewarding activities throughout the month of March.
Fargo resident Katy Cox heard about the Pussy Hat Project on Facebook after the election in November. She needed both a way to cope with the results and a way to become active in her community. The project was perfect for her – knitting is therapeutic, the hats were simple to make, and it was a way to utilize her talents to bring the community together.
Saturday, January 21, 2017, we prepared for the Women’s Marches that were taking place all over the world.
Now is the time to take your post-election angst and plug it into on-the-ground activism opportunities in North Dakota!
