(Delaware County, Pa.) --- Planned Parenthood PA PAC Director Signe Espinoza released the following statement after Heather Boyd’s decisive victory in the special election for PA House District 163:

“The future of abortion was on the ballot in this special election; the pro-sexual and reproductive health care majority in the House was threatened just months after it was won for the first time, and we all had so much on the line. But as it has in cycle after cycle, when our health care freedom and our most basic rights are on the ballot, we win. Voters want politicians out of their private lives. Heather is going to be an excellent defender of our rights and we look forward to her swearing in.”
