(Delaware County, Pa.) --- Planned Parenthood PA’s PAC endorsed Heather Boyd in the special election for House District 163.

“Without Roe v Wade on the books, the future of sexual and reproductive health is on the ballot every time we vote,” said Planned Parenthood PA’s Executive Director Signe Espinoza. “This race is going to determine whether we have a pro sexual and reproductive health majority in the Pennsylvania House, and ultimately whether abortion is legal and accessible. Even with a governor that supports our right to abortion, we’ve seen an anti-abortion legislature pass constitutional amendments that erode our rights. This race matters. Every race matters. Your reproductive rights are on the line.”

Heather Boyd is a U.S. congressional district director and former Upper Darby School Board member.

The special election will be held on May 16, concurrent with the primary. Every registered voter in the district is eligible to vote in this race, regardless of whether they are affiliated with a major political party.
