Scorecard: Vermont Legislature 2019-2020

The 2019-2020 Vermont legislative session marked a historic chapter for reproductive rights in Vermont. Legislators passed two significant bills. H.57, now known as Act 47, was signed into law by Governor Phil Scott and protects the right to abortion in Vermont without interference from the government. The second measure, Prop 5, is an amendment to the Vermont state constitution that will, if approved by voters, guarantee reproductive liberty to ALL Vermonters. More than 100 legislators earned a 100% score for their votes on these significant reproductive health protections.

Planned Parenthood Vermont Action Fund is grateful to the Vermont House and Senate for taking groundbreaking action on bills to protect reproductive rights in the state, and we’re grateful for their leadership on these critical issues. See where your Vermont Representatives and Senators stand on reproductive health and rights.
