Generation Action

Be a Voice for Reproductive Freedom on Your Campus and in Your Community!

"Talking to a large group of people about the frank and complicated subjects of reproductive justice and health is not what scares me. What scares me is the idea of nobody talking about the subjects at all."

- Megan Kleczka
Generation Action Intern, Eastern Connecticut State University

Planned Parenthood Generation Action Internship is a network of young organizers and activists across Connecticut and Rhode Island who take action on their college campuses and in their communities to mobilize advocates for reproductive freedom; in addition to raising public awareness about reproductive health, rights, and justice, educating young people about sexual health, and creating lasting change in those communities.

Planned Parenthood Generation Action is committed to building a robust, region wide network of young leaders and arming them with the tools needed to create change through a range of local campaigns, trainings, and leadership opportunities. Furthermore, this unique network acknowledges and supports the dynamic perspectives and intersectional framework that young people are using to connect reproductive health to other issue like civil rights, immigration, the environment, and identity politics.

Young leaders are turning out and turning up in the fight for reproductive rights and access. Planned Parenthood Votes! CT and Rhode Island is committed to amplifying the voices of the next generation in the reproductive freedom movement.
