Las Vegas, NV — As polling locations close in Nevada this evening, Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada, Nevada Advocates for Planned Parenthood Affiliates PAC and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (Planned Parenthood advocacy organizations) are taking stock of their efforts to advocate for pro-abortion rights and reproductive health care champions up and down the ballot this midterm cycle. Over the course of the 2022 midterms, Planned Parenthood advocacy organizations made historic investments in mail, paid canvassing programs, and digital ad campaigns.

As a result, Planned Parenthood advocacy organizations in Nevada were able to:

  • Knock 135,000 doors
  • Reach 195,000 households by mail
  • Make over 250,000 impressions with digital ads

Statement from Lindsey Harmon, Executive Director, Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada:

“Planned Parenthood political and advocacy organizations made a historic investment this electoral cycle to meet this historic moment for abortion rights. Regardless of the results, we know that Nevadans value and uphold abortion as a fundamental right and freedom. And we will continue that work at the state legislature where we will continue to advocate for policies that take us forward, not backward.

It’s worth noting that the right to abortion has the highest support in its history regardless of party. We will continue to work tirelessly until our laws reflect the will of the people.”
