Planned Parenthood Votes Opposes Susan Collins for Senate

Susan Collins says she doesn’t regret voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, the justice who tipped the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. 

Here is what Susan Collins has to say: 

• Years later, she's fine with casting the deciding vote to confirm U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who later voted to overturn Roe v. Wade: “I do not regret that vote.” [Susan Collins, Portland press conference, 6/26]
• She claims losing federal abortion protections hasn’t affected women in Maine, telling reporters the decision to take away abortion rights “has not had an impact on the state of Maine” [Susan Collins, News Center Maine Interview, 6/26]

Tell that to patients in Maine who, because of Susan Collins, fear they can't get the health care they need. Tell that to the providers who have fought tirelessly to strengthen state-level protections because Susan Collins has failed to defend our rights time and again. 

Mainers will remember this in November.
