TALLAHASSEE – Tomorrow the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates (FAPPA) will launch a multi-pronged paid advertising campaign pushing back against the proposed 15-week abortion ban (HB 5/SB 146) currently moving through the Florida Legislature. The campaign will incorporate digital, print and mobile billboard advertising. The mobile billboard will spend Wednesday and Thursday driving past the Capitol, Governor's Mansion, Florida Supreme Court, Florida A&M University and Florida State University.

Digital ads will be run over the coming days on Facebook and Politico websites, with print ads set to appear tomorrow in the Tallahassee Democrat, Miami Herald and Naples Daily News.

“Every Floridian deserves the freedom to make their own decisions about their bodies and their lives — including the decision to have an abortion,” said Laura Goodhue, Executive Director of the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates. “The politicians who oppose our right to abortion are trying to take away that freedom, and we refuse to stand by.”
