This November, Californians have the chance to send a message to the rest of the nation with Proposition 1. In California, we work to ensure abortions are legal and accessible, and that important health care decisions are left to an individual and their health care provider.
Voting YES on Prop 1 will add the right to an abortion directly into the California State Constitution so that people can continue to have the power to control their own bodies and make their own personal decisions.
With the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe v. Wade, many states across the country will limit or outright ban abortion access, making getting care more about a political agenda and less about scientific facts. We need to protect people’s fundamental right to control their own body and ensure that everyone has options when it comes to making decisions about their reproductive health care.

October 6: Prop 1 Kick Off Party and Phone Bank in San Diego

October 8: Prop 1 Day of Action in San Diego and Riverside
Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest invites you to a virtual Rally followed by a phone and texbank in observance of Prop 1! This statewide Day of Action is open to anyone interested in protecting the right to abortion for all Calfornians.
We will be kicking the day off with a live Zoom rally at 10:00am on October 8th. No prior phonebank or textbank experience needed – volunteers will receive training with field coordinators and plug in directly to our campaign voter outreach activities set up for them for the day!
