SEEKING AN ENDORSEMENT?

We will likely take up the remaining endorsements for the June 2022 Primary in March 2022. If you are interested in seeking an endorsement for any race in the Imperial, Riverside, or San Diego regions (e.g. CA State Legislature, county offices, city councils, school boards, health care districts, etc.), please contact [email protected]. For all other areas, we can connect you with the appropriate Planned Parenthood 501(C)(4) affiliate.

Our endorsement process includes a staff evaluation, recommendation from our Endorsement Committee (made up of community members and members of our board of directors), and approval by our board of directors. Candidates will be asked to complete a questionnaire and may be invited to participate in an interview, depending on the race. For offices in which we issue a scorecard, incumbents must maintain a 100% voting record on every scorecard since their last election/re-election in order to be eligible for endorsement.

Please note that if you are seeking an endorsement for a U.S. Senate or U.S. House of Representativesseat, those endorsements are made by the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund PAC. See graphic below:
