PPADMV is proud to endorse:

2020 DC Endorsements & Ratings
Planned Parenthood Advocates for DC, Maryland & NoVa is excited to announce endorsements and ratings in this year’s races for DC Council.
Endorsements
Councilmember Robert White for re-election for At-Large
In Councilmember White’s first term, he has proven himself an effective leader and champion of voting rights, maternal health, and racial and social justice. He has also voted to expand access to contraception and protect the reproductive rights of DC residents, and PPADMV is proud to support his re-election.
Councilmember Brooke Pinto for re-election for Ward 2
When Councilmember Pinto was elected this June in a special election, she became the youngest person ever elected to the DC Council and the first woman to represent Ward 2. She has a strong platform with commitments to protect reproductive rights, fight for maternal health, and promote menstrual equity, and PPADMV looks forward to working with her on these and other issues.
Janeese Lewis George for Ward 4
Although she has not yet been elected to the Council, Janeese Lewis George has already established herself as a powerful champion for her community and a leader on countless social justice issues. She is a strong advocate of affordable childcare, combatting the Black maternal mortality crisis, and ensuring high-quality education for DC students, and PPADMV is excited to support her candidacy.
