Why We Support Lamar Allen:

Lamar Allen believes that Kentucky can and must do better. If elected, Lamar would be the youngest legislator in Frankfort and the first person of color to represent the district. His goals are ambitious and he will push Kentucky farther.

  • Wants to end generational poverty by increasing employment opportunities for families, affordable housing options, and community food resources.

  • Trusts women to make decisions about their own bodies. (Endorsed by VoteProChoice)

  • Supports the LGBTQ community and will ensure the same rights as all other Kentuckians. (Endorsed by C-FAIR)

  • Stands firmly on the side of science and health care providers when responding to COVID-19, and promises to protect vulnerable populations with underlying health issues by placing them at the forefront of decision making.

  • Member of Fayette’s The Women’s Network, NAACP, and Kentuckians for the Commonwealth.

We proudly endorse Lamar because as an educator, he understands the importance of inclusive, medically accurate information and access to comprehensive age appropriate sex education. Lamar will fight to eliminate structures that impede financial, social, political, and academic progress for all Kentuckians.

As we lead the charge against attacks on health care access and reproductive rights, we know Lamar will stand strong on important issues for all Kentuckians.

Daniel Fister (R) is bad for Kentucky. He:

Sits on the Board of Directors for Central Kentucky’s Right to Life organization and runs on being a “pro-god, pro-life” platform. He has been endorsed by the NRA, along with the KRTL and will stop at nothing to restrict access to reproductive freedom for Kentuckians.
