Planned Parenthood operates within the realm of reproductive health. While we primarily focus on reproductive health services, we also strive to support and defend reproductive rights. Although we do not actively position ourselves in the reproductive justice sphere, we often collaborate with individuals and organizations engaged in this important work.

Our main objective is to amplify their efforts without taking credit for their work. By reflecting on our organization's past experiences in the reproductive rights and reproductive justice movement, we aim to become stronger allies both presently and in the future.

Understanding these terms is crucial because they represent distinct but interconnected concepts. Recognizing the difference between reproductive health, reproductive rights, and reproductive justice helps us comprehend the broader context in which reproductive issues exist. It highlights the need to address not only individual rights but also systemic barriers and inequalities that impact marginalized communities.
