Protect Our Rights. Vote.

Nebraska is at risk in the wake of the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. States now have the power to ban abortions even in the case of rape or incest. Our rights and access to reproductive health care depend on elected leaders at all levels of government.

Vote for Machaela Cavanaugh and other Planned Parenthood champions up and down the ballot.

Machaela Cavanaugh, Proven Planned Parenthood Champion

Machaela Cavanaugh is a fierce advocate for all Nebraskans. She has played a critical role in blocking harmful abortion bans and restrictions since she was first elected in 2018, including LB 933, the trigger ban bill proposed last legislative session that would have banned abortion when Roe v. Wade was overturned in June.

Senator Cavanaugh is a champion for Nebraskan children and families and that includes her work fighting to protect and expand abortion access.  She is committed to keeping abortion safe and legal in Nebraska because "every single person in this state deserves the freedom to make their own health care decisions."

Christian Mirch Doesn't Trust Nebraskans to Make Decisions About Their Own Bodies

Christian Mirch, the candidate for Legislative District 6 running against Machaela Cavanaugh is endorsed by organizations leading the charge to ban abortion in Nebraska. Mirch believes that abortion should be completely illegal in Nebraska without exceptions for survivors of rape or incest.

Sexual and Reproductive Health Care Champions On The Ballot

Everyone should have the power to make decisions about their own bodies. We must elect champions of sexual and reproductive health care to all levels of government this fall to protect our fundamental right to make personal health care decisions.

Machaela Cavanaugh for Legislative District 6

We were able to block an abortion ban this spring and a special session to ban abortion this summer thanks to key votes in the Nebraska Legislature. It is essential we keep the votes needed to block any future abortion bans. States now have the power to ban abortion, even in cases of rape or incest.

Machaela Cavanaugh trusts Nebraskans to make the best decisions about their own bodies and will oppose any proposed abortion bans.

Dave Pantos for Douglas County Attorney

Keeping supportive state officials in office is critical to maintaining access to abortion in Nebraska. Dave Pantos is committed to protecting this essential care.

Deb Neary for State Board of Education District 8

Deb Neary is committed to fighting for inclusive classrooms for all students regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. She will also work to ensure Nebraska schools adhere to medically accurate, age-appropriate, inclusive health standards.

Carol Blood for Governor

Nebraska needs a leader who is loud and bold in their support of sexual and reproductive health care, and Carol Blood has proven herself to be just that. She knows that a majority of Nebraskans support safe, legal abortion and will work to keep it that way.

Important Initiatives on Your Ballot

Raise the Minimum Wage

Nebraska has not raised its minimum wage since 2016, despite the rising cost of living. In addition, there is nowhere in Nebraska that a single adult making less than $15/hour can afford the basic necessities. Raising the wage to $15/hour would decrease the gender and racial pay gap in our state and ease the burden of rising costs on 150,000 Nebraskans and their families who currently make the minimum wage. Vote FOR Initiative 433.

Protect the Right to Vote

The fight for reproductive freedom will only be won when everyone is able to participate in our democracy. Vote AGAINST Initiative 432, a discriminatory voter ID requirement that could disenfranchise thousands of Nebraska voters.
