Protect Our Rights. Vote.

Nebraska is at risk in the wake of the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. States now have the power to ban abortions even in the case of rape or incest. Our rights and access to reproductive health care depend on elected leaders at all levels of government.

Senator Robert Clements, A Danger to Reproductive Freedom

Senator Robert Clements is running against Sarah Slattery in Legislative District 2. He co-sponsored LB933, the trigger ban that Nebraskans defeated last legislative session. If passed, it would have immediately banned abortion when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Clements also signed onto an open letter calling for a Special Session to pass an abortion ban this summer.1

Sexual and Reproductive Health Care Champions On The Ballot

Everyone should have the power to make decisions about their own bodies. We must elect champions of sexual and reproductive health care to all levels of government this fall to protect our fundamental right to make personal health care decisions.

Sarah Slattery for Legislative District 2

We were able to block an abortion ban this spring and a special session to ban abortion this summer thanks to key votes in the Nebraska Legislature. It is essential we keep the votes needed to block any future abortion bans. States now have the power to ban abortion, even in cases of rape or incest.

Sarah Slattery trusts Nebraskans to make the best decisions about their own bodies and will oppose any proposed abortion bans.

Carol Blood for Governor

Nebraska needs a leader who is loud and bold in their support of sexual and reproductive health care, and Carol Blood has proven herself to be just that. She knows that a majority of Nebraskans support safe, legal abortion and will work to keep it that way.

Important Initiatives on Your Ballot

Raise the Minimum Wage

Nebraska has not raised its minimum wage since 2016, despite the rising cost of living. In addition, there is nowhere in Nebraska that a single adult making less than $15/hour can afford the basic necessities. Raising the wage to $15/hour would decrease the gender and racial pay gap in our state and ease the burden of rising costs on 150,000 Nebraskans and their families who currently make the minimum wage. Vote FOR Initiative 433.

Protect the Right to Vote

The fight for reproductive freedom will only be won when everyone is able to participate in our democracy. Vote AGAINST Initiative 432, a discriminatory voter ID requirement that could disenfranchise thousands of Nebraska voters.
