Planned Parenthood Leaders in California Heartbroken of Hearing of Justice Ginsburg’s Death

CALIFORNIA – Jodi Hicks, President/CEO of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, issued the following statement on the deeply saddening death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s recent death:  
 
“We are utterly heartbroken by the death of longtime women’s rights trailblazer and champion of reproductive freedom, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She has been an architect of the legal fights protecting and advancing human rights across the nation, and will be remembered for her service and dedication to reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights for generations to come. On behalf of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, we mourn today. But tomorrow, we commit to fiercely fighting harder to ensure her legacy is not undone. Our country is better because of her.”
