2026 Florida Legislative Session

Everyone deserves the freedom to make their own decisions about their bodies and their lives — including the decision to have an abortion. Our health and rights are non-negotiable and we've got to fight the extremist lawmakers in Tallahassee to protect them.

ISSUES AND BILLS TO WATCH

Reproductive Freedom Act

HB 1151/SB 1308

This bill would remove political interference from our health care decisions and return our bodily autonomy by ensuring we have the freedom to make the full range of decisions about reproductive health care without government interference.

Abusers’ Bill of Rights

SB 164/HB 289

This broad and far-reaching bill would create a slippery slope that could lead to fertilized eggs and embryos having the same rights as a living person. That means for a pregnant patient, lawyers, not doctors, will be consulted if they need health care, including in an emergency.

Indoctrination in Public Schools

SB 1090/HB 1071

This “education” bill would mandate the inclusion of anti-abortion content, such as the “Baby Olivia” and “Baby Oliver” videos, in school curricula and require opting in for any reproductive health instruction and HIV/AIDS instruction.

Endangering Our Kids Act

SB 166/HB 173

This bill would place extreme barriers in front of young people to protect themselves against unintended pregnancies, and the treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). This is dangerous for our youth.

Bounty Hunters Bill

HB 663 / SB 1374

This bill would increase surveillance of pregnant people, lead to investigations of pregnancy losses, and empower abusive partners to weaponize state courts against survivors.
