The Power of Personal Narrative: Attend a Story Slam in Portsmouth

Personal stories have the power to change cultural conversations, shift the political landscape, reduce stigma, and build community. Reserve your free ticket today and join Planned Parenthood of Northern New England and Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund at Liars Bench Beer Co on Wednesday, August 23rd at 7:00 PM for our Story Slam! Doors open at 6:30 PM. 

Share your story! We are looking for people to share their story publicly about accessing and/or advocating for sexual and reproductive health care. Whether you came to Planned Parenthood or elsewhere for contraception, gender affirming care, abortion, or anything else – you have a story to tell. Join us for an evening of conversation and advocacy. To share your story use this form. We will be collecting submissions through July 16th and will select storytellers after submissions close.

We will be livestreaming the event on Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund’s Instagram and Facebook.
We're excited to again partner with Liar's Bench Beer Co, one of the best breweries in New Hampshire and an incredible ally. Attendees must be 21 or older to purchase and/or drink alcoholic beverages. Tickets required upon entry. 

All donations, and $1 from each pint, will go directly to Planned Parenthood of Northern New England's Gender Affirming Care Fund. The Gender-Affirming Care Fund provides high-quality, non-judgmental care to transgender and gender non-conforming patients, regardless of ability to pay.
